Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder (dark)
  • 1 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Bring the butter and milk to a slow boil
  2. Add the dry ingredients. Cook on low until the sauce coats the back of a spoon (3 – 4 minutes).

Notes

This stays good in the refrigerator for months – just warm it up in the microwave (for about 30 seconds).
