Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce
- Yield: ~3 cups
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (dark)
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- Bring the butter and milk to a slow boil
- Add the dry ingredients. Cook on low until the sauce coats the back of a spoon (3 – 4 minutes).
This stays good in the refrigerator for months – just warm it up in the microwave (for about 30 seconds).
