Servings: 2

8 dried figs, slightly softened in warm water and then drained
½ ounce chevre or blue cheese crumbles, at room temperature
4 slices of bacon, halved crosswise
Balsamic glaze, for garnish (optional)


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Slice figs ¾ of the way through and open like a book.

Stuff cheese inside the figs and wrap each fig with a slice of bacon.

Place wrapped figs seam side down onto a sprayed and parchment lined sheet tray. Allow to bake until bacon is slightly crisped.

Serve warm and garnish with balsamic glaze if your little heart desires.
